Born into a family that exorcises specters, Rinne is a girl who mysteriously cannot see the faces of others. With the help of Yakumo, a storm goddess, she sets out on her first duty. The two defeat one enemy after another, but then they encounter an unexpected foe: creatures with black crystals in their bodies that can endlessly regenerate. Just as things are looking hopeless, a mysterious man named Jugemu comes to their aid.
